This Supper Club Inside A Ceramics Studio Might Be The Quirkiest Place To Dine In Georgia
Fine dining in Georgia is thriving. Even when people are pinching their pennies, many of us feel like good food is worth splurging on. But if you're going to enjoy an upscale meal, you want the atmosphere to be just as special as the food you're indulging in. If you're seeking a truly unique fine dining restaurant in Georgia that stands apart from the myriad of other luxury options in our capital city, we think you'll love the spot we have featured today. The Mug of the Month Supper Club with Dirt Church Ceramics makes eating out an unforgettable experience. Check it out:
If you're a fan of fine dining in Atlanta, you may already know Chef Zach Meloy. He was the head chef of Better Half for five years before it closed in 2018. The ultra-popular spot in Home Park was a deliciously fun place to eat.
What many don't know is that Meloy is also an artist. He creates beautiful ceramic dishware at his ceramics studio, Dirt Church Services.
While you can purchase his dishware at the studio or online, there's now a more fun way to enjoy it: the Mug of the Month Club.
The Mug of the Month dinners occur each month in an unmarked building on Atlanta's west side.
It's certainly not the type of spot you'd expect to find a delicious upscale meal, but that's just what you'll get at these bi-weekly dinners.
Each meal is limited to 16 guests in total. You'll receive an exclusive hand-crafted mug filled with a cocktail, plus a behind-the-scenes tour of the ceramics studio. The evening finishes with a five-course meal prepared by Meloy.
The courses are fixed, but many allergens can be accommodated.
This is such a unique dining experience that's almost like a performance instead of a simple meal out at a restaurant!
Next time you're looking to treat yourself to an upscale meal, consider a Mug of the Month Supper Club visit.
