One of my favorite drives in the Sunshine State is the trek to the Florida Keys. Not only is the trip itself beautiful, with shimmering turquoise wherever you look, but there are also a ton of delicious restaurants worth stopping for. Like The Key Largo Conch House! This hidden gem seafood spot is one of the best places to stop on the way to the Florida Keys to fill your belly.

On your way down to Key West, make sure to take a detour off Overseas Highway in Key Largo to The Key Largo Conch House.

Second generation, family-owned and operated since 2004, this incredible seafood spot is a hidden gem but so worth the stop.

For starters, it wouldn’t be fair to be named a conch house without making conch a staple on this menu. Kick off your menu with a platter of deliciously deep-fried conch fritters.
