Poncha Springs is a very small town of around just 1,000 residents. When you pass through it, it seems to go by in a flash. This pleasant community is located between Gunnsion, Buena Vista, Salida, and Alamosa. Whether you're going north, south, east, or west in this part of the state, you'll have to listen to your GPS telling you to turn or go straight while you're in Poncha.

Therefore, it's the perfect place to stop and get a bite to eat while you get your bearings. Due to the fact that Poncha Springs is at a crossroads, there are several restaurants from which to choose. They're all good, but none are as friendly, welcoming, and well-rated as Poncha Pub.

Poncha Pub is known for its sandwiches and you're certainly going to be happy with whichever one you choose. There are eight different sandwiches served at Poncha Pub and there's one for every palate among them. The Godfather is a fantastic Italian mixed sandwich; The Gobbler is a classic turkey and Swiss combo that pleases with a big taste in every bite. The Fly Fisher and The Clucker are perfect for tuna salad and chicken salad lovers. The Herbivore is an excellent vegetarian option that includes hummus, veggies, and cheese.

The Pickle Club, however, is perhaps Poncha Pub's most popular sandwich. This club is stacked with honey-smoked ham, smoked turkey, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and veggies of your choosing. This sandwich is truly excellent, and when you order it, you'll even be staying on theme. By the time you've chosen what you want to order, you've likely noticed that Poncha Pub is more than just a little enamored with pickles!
