Satisfy your need for speed with a visit to Sugar River Raceway in Brodhead!

Open April - November, Sugar River Raceway features a ½-mile paved asphalt course.

Technically-challenging, it boasts 10 turns and plenty of passing opportunities.

The raceway aims to deliver a real racing experience and does so by providing drivers with actual racing go-karts, not the low-powered versions you'll find at amusement parks.

With a top speed of 50 MPH, the go-karts are not your typical run-of-the-mill karts. These don’t just putt along, they fly at racing speeds.

There are a couple of ways to ride go-karts at Sugar River Raceway.

In addition to attending one of the many events Sugar River Raceway hosts throughout the year, you can reserve the track for a private event, such as a bachelor party, company outing, etc.

Another option is to take part in its Rent to Race program.

With Rent to Race, the raceway provides everything you need to race – all you have to do is show up.

There is one requirement, though. To rent a go-kart, you must be at least 56” tall.

Remember, Rent to Race sessions are held on select days, so make sure to call prior to your visit. For more information, call Sugar River Raceway at (608) 897-2898. You can also visit the Sugar River Raceway website or Facebook page.
