Welcome to Lower Sherwood Farm in Charlottesville, Virginia! For several decades, the owners have been raising happy and healthy llamas.

The farm specializes in llamas meant for show and breeding. And, during hot Virginia summers, the wool is shorn and used to make one-of-a-kind products like yarns.

But by far the most unique aspect of the farm is the guided llama treks.

That's right: you can sign up to take one of these lovable llamas on a stroll through the wooded countryside. Doesn't that sound like a dream?

As it turns out, these creatures make excellent hiking companions. They're gentle in nature and easygoing, and they'll truly put a smile on your face.

All ages are welcome to join! The only requirement is that children under 10 years old be accompanied by an adult.

Hikes range between one and two miles and last up to two hours. During that time, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the Blue Ridge foothills and 95 acres of farmland.

So what are you waiting for? These adorable creatures are looking forward to walking with you!

Plus, you can extend your adventure and camp at this beautiful llama farm in Virginia.
