The Chasing Rainbows museum is located in the Dollywood theme park found in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The museum first opened in 2002, and it has become a destination for families from all over the state and nation.

It is actually the second Dolly Parton museum that has opened in the park, the first being "Rags to Riches: The Dolly Parton Story."

Inside you'll find all sorts of personal items from Dolly's history on display, and you'll even find the bag that belonged to the doctor who delivered her as a baby! The rooms are all themed, so you'll walk through a replica of the cabin Dolly grew up in, her "Tennessee Mountain Home," and in the Listening Station you can listen to her music.

Every room is designed to reflect a different element of her house. The House of Prayer is a church house that displays objects Reverand Jake Owens, Dolly's grandfather, once owned, including the family Bible.
