Everyone In Portland Must Visit This Epic Hot Spring As Soon As Possible

Deep in the woods of Mt. Hood National Forest, lies a beautiful and remote hot spring and bathhouse that everyone in Portland should visit at least once. Don't wait until the dead of winter to visit, as the roads are not maintained and in some cases impassable. Pick a cool spring, summer, or fall day to take this short hike and enjoy all the natural beauty that lies deep in the canopy at Bagby Hot Springs.

Like many things in life, the journey is half the fun. This journey is about 45 minutes, or 1.5 miles from the trailhead.

Be sure you bring your camera, as the scenery on the walk out is spectacular as you follow along the Collawash River.

No matter the season, there are stunning views that build anticipation during the trek in to the hot springs.

Finally, you will arrive to the modest building consisting of three bath houses. Be warned - the hot spring is clothing optional.
