If you need to escape your day to day life, this is one hot place to do it. Natural mineral springs on beautifully manicured grounds await you at the Carson Hot Spring Resort and you are definitely going to want to plan a getaway this winter.

In business since 1901, Carson Hot Springs has been providing respite for over a century.

The hot springs were discovered by Isadore St. Martin in 1876, and he immediately filed a claim on the land.

St. Martin’s wife had severe nerve damage, which caused immense pain and affected her daily life. Upon bathing in the waters she began to improve and experience relief.

By 1897, after word spread of how the waters helped St. Martin's wife, construction of the historic hotel, the white building pictured in the background here, began.

By 1923, cabins and a bathhouse were added and the resort began to take hold.

Starting off as St. Martin's, the name was changed to Carson Hot Springs in the early 70s and the resort has been going strong ever since.

A highlight of the trip to Carson Hot Springs is definitely the mineral soaking pool.

While this rejuvenating water feels incredible on its own, you can also combine it with a spa treatment for ultimate relaxation.

In the spa, luxurious clawfoot bathtubs and other vintage stylings await you.

This authentic and traditional bathhouse experience is one of the best around.

Whether you are a golfer or not, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape around you.

Adjoining the Elk Ridge Golf Course, you can get a round in during your stay if you like.
