If you're craving a real taste of summer, go to the OBX Watermelon Festival in North Carolina. Mark your calendars for the 17th Annual Outer Banks Watermelon Festival at Kitty Hawk Kites.

This super fun event takes place Aug. 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kitty Hawk Kites' location at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing in lovely Nags Head.

Before you do anything, have your face painted by some talented artists.

You'll look so pretty as you participate in what the day brings.

And by all means, wear your best outfit for this social occasion.
