Each year, Lavender Oaks Farm in North Carolina transforms into a sea of purple and mountains of fragrant flowers. Open seasonally from May through October, Lavender Oaks Farm is one North Carolina 'field' trip you're sure to love.

Opening day for the 2021 season is May 22, when you can walk among the new blooms and enjoy the calming fragrance of the colorful fields.

Throughout the summer, except when the farm is reserved for special events like weddings, you'll be able to get lost in the fields and wander at your leisure.

Their nine varieties of lavender bloom from mid-May to July.

The farm has several special events throughout the summer, with their U-Pick days being incredibly popular.

They also offer Culinary Lavender Dinners, Workshops, and Lunch Tours!

Whenever you decide to visit, the cost is $5 per person, and children 5 and under are free.

Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in one of the barn shelters. Then head back out to the fields for mesmerizing fun.

The Farm Shoppe includes a culinary line with lavender infused cooking ingredients (lavender syrup, lavender-infused balsamic vinegar, and more). You'll also find an apothecary line of lavender goodies perfect for gift giving.
