The Decadent Chocolates At EJ’s Bonbons And Confections In New York Will Have Your Mouth Watering In No Time

EJ’s Bonbons and Confections in Woodstock offers visually stunning and delicious handcrafted chocolates using local ingredients.

Calling all chocoholics! If you are looking for something sweet to satisfy a craving, that is surely not a hard task within the Hudson Valley region of New York. But if you want something that is just as visually appealing as it is delicious, look to EJ’s Bonbons and Confections in Woodstock.

Opened in 2021, EJ's Bonbons and Confections is owned and operated by two chefs whose resumes include Michelin-starred restaurants.

Both have extensive experience within the industry, and more specifically, with chocolate.

These handcrafted treats are definitely delicious. And just as equally exquisite.

But achieving that beautiful outside gloss isn’t an easy task. Just a few of the tools needed to finalize these designs include a spray gun, Q-tips, paintbrushes, and sponges.

And the flavors of the colorful bonbons are just as crafty!

Just a few of the most popular flavors include dark chocolate and salted caramel. Many of the fruits that are used in the chocolates, like raspberries, blueberries, and grapes, come from local gardens.

And the cream for the chocolates comes from a local dairy farm.

In fact, the store tries to use as many local businesses and ingredients as they can, such as maple syrup from the Hudson Valley.

A great deal of the flavors are super creative and unexpected, like mojito or black forest cake.

Choose from an assortment of bonbons with ornately decorated shells, with many flavors rotating in and out by season.

Aside from some classics that are year-round, there are different flavors and designs for every season.

For example, strawberry cheesecake is a great fit for summer, and apple cider-caramel is a fall favorite.

You might not be able to stop yourself from gorging on these chocolates to actually look inside, but if you did, you’d see this:

The chocolate used actually comes from Amedei, an award-winning chocolatier located in Tuscany, Italy.

Stop in the store and grab yourself a dazzling creation (or two or three or a dozen)!
