Brooklyn Flea was founded in April 2008 by Jonathan Butler and Eric Demby. Since then, its popularity has only increased. It’s now one of the most popular attractions in the city.

There is also a range of jewelry and crafts.

The flea market is located in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn—Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.

Brooklyn Flea additionally runs Chelsea Flea, which is a year-round flea market that takes place in the neighborhood it is named after. From April to October, Brooklyn Flea also runs Smorgasburg, a huge all-food market that happens around the city, as well as in Los Angeles and Miami.
