Take A Meandering Road To A New Hampshire Overlook That’s Like The Balcony Of An Old Stone Castle
The Pemigewasset Overlook in the White Mountains offers stunning views accessible via the scenic Kancamagus Highway.
One of the best things about being in New Hampshire is the constant access to incredible views. Even better than access to these views is the fact that journeying to see them can be just as fantastic. From hiking trails that open up to miles of landscape to the views you can peak at through your own backyard, there's no shortage of beauty. This overlook, smack in the middle of the White Mountains, is one of our favorites.
Located in the White Mountains, the Pemigewasset Overlook offers some of the most impressive views in all of New Hampshire.
Getting there is equally as beautiful. The 34.5 drive on the Kancamagus Highway starts in Lincoln or Conway and meanders through the forest on the way to the overlook.
The views are different in each season making this a great drive to take throughout the year. We love it in the spring and summer, but it's also known as one of best fall foliage views in New England.
Let's not forget about winter when everything has a layer of white!
The overlook gazes out over the Osceola Mountains and there's a lovely stone gazebo to rest in.
The Pemigewasset Overlook is a great way to appreciate New Hampshire all over again!
