As every New Englander knows well, we get to experience all four seasons here... sometimes, they all happen in the same week! One season that always seems too short is autumn, as summer fades and gives way to the cold winter. So we need to make the most of it while it's here! Here are some of the best fall festivals in New Hampshire to help you enjoy the most colorful season of the year.

1. Apple Harvest Day, Dover - October 4, 2025

A day-long family-friendly event, Apple Harvest Day celebrates the autumn season with over 300 vendors, entertainment, and great food. Since 1985, it has grown into one of the region's largest seasonal festivals. 2. Fall Foliage Festival, Waterville Valley - October 10-11, 2025

3. White Mountain Oktoberfest, Lincoln - October 11-13, 2025
