A Street Food Festival Is Coming To St. Louis And You Won’t Want To Miss It

There are many reasons to love fall in Missouri, including all of the wonderful festivals that pop up around the state. The cooler weather and autumnal colors are the perfect invitation to spend your weekends outdoors, and there’s one particular festival that the entire family will enjoy. The first-ever St. Louis Street Food Festival will be taking over Ballpark Village October 14 - 15, 2023, and this is one festival you won’t want to miss.

Calling all foodies! There’s a new festival coming to St. Louis, and it promises to be one of the most delicious festivals in the Show Me State.

From 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on both days, all of the best food trucks and restaurants in the St. Louis Area will be at the festival.

Over 20 vendors are going to be out and about!

1. Harvest Festival STL (October 15th, 2017)

Presented by Sauce Magazine and hosted by Laumeier Sculpture Park, this harvest festival is not to be missed. The festival features local artists and farm fresh food, and is held in one of the most unique and eclectic parks of our region.

2. Tower Grove Farmers Market Harvest Festival (September 30th, 2017)

Tower Grove Farmers market always offers the freshest produce and unique handcrafted goods. They kick their quality and service up a notch with this Harvest Festival. 3. Best of Missouri Market (October 7-8 , 2017)

The Best of Missouri Market is held in the always beautiful Missouri Botanical Gardens. A perfect venue, this event offers all the wonderful experience of the Botanical Gardens as well as everything a fall harvest festival can be. The event features 120 vendors, live music, a food court, pumpkin decorating, and so much more.

4. Saint Charles Oktoberfest (September 22- 24, 2017)

The Saint Charles Oktoberfest is held in September, a tribute to the original Oktoberfest held in Munich, Germany. This event encompasses all the typical fall festival activities like fresh harvest food, handmade craft vendors, and pumpkin centered activities. It also offers so much more with races, a car show, and a brat eating contest.

This event is hosted in Frontier Park, located at 500 S Riverside Dr., St Charles, MO 63301.

5. Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival (October 28-29, 2017)

The Apple Butter Festival of Kimmswick Missouri is one of the most popular fall festivals in the region. Celebrating all things fall with great food, 100's of local vendors, live music, and demonstrations of how to make apple butter, this festival is a full day of fun.

6. Hermann Oktoberfest (every weekend in October)

Not content with just a one day festival, Hermann Missouri celebrates the return of fall every weekend in October. Featuring their local award winning wines, nonstop activities, and the welcoming hospitality they are known for. This is a place to plan to experience an October weekend getaway.

If there's one thing we St. Louisans agree on, it's that we love a great celebration. There's one coming up soon that everyone should love. The Festival of Nations in Tower Grove Park isn’t just epic to attend. Its mission of bringing together St. Louisans and the world for two days of food, dancing, music, and shared experiences is the kind of awesome planning we could all use more of. Best of all, admission and entertainment are free! Take a look below at all this event has to offer.

This festival is hosted by the International Institute of St. Louis. Their mission is to help new immigrants build a great life in America. And they have been doing this work for almost 100 years.

Each country represented at the festival has its own booth. Each of the 30 booths lining the World Bazaar is an immigrant-owned business or an ethnic organization. They offer jewelry, drums, Indian scarfs, Ecuadoran clothing, and much more.

There are more than 40 different food vendors offering food choices from American to Vietnamese. This could be the only place to have authentic Scottish Haggis and mash, Nepalese Chicken korma, and Kurdish falafel together for lunch.
