Drive Through Santa’s Magical Kingdom In Missouri For A Family-Friendly Holiday Adventure

Experience the magic of Christmas at Santa’s Magical Kingdom in Missouri with millions of twinkling lights and festive activities.

Remember how excited you were on Christmas Eve as a kid? Most of us probably struggled to fall asleep, in such anticipation of running to the tree on Christmas morning to see what Santa left us. Today, we can reclaim some of that childhood excitement and awe with the many activities that add a magical touch to the Christmas season. Drive through Santa’s Magical Kingdom in Missouri, glistening in millions of lights, for example, for an unforgettable adventure that just might make you feel like a kid again. Christmas in Missouri is a wondrous time!

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, in Eureka, transforms into a magical Christmas wonderland every winter with its sensational drive-thru Christmas lights display. It's been a staple holiday attraction for over 30 years.

Your adventure begins as you drive through massive – four-story high – doors that will lead you to Santa’s Magical Kingdom, awash in millions of twinkling Christmas lights.

Every magical moment promises a new surprise, including a 300-foot light waterfall, a spectacular tunnel of lights, and Candyland, complete with a gingerbread house.

If you want to savor every magical moment, consider booking a spot on the train or on the wagon for a unique journey through Santa’s Magical Kingdom. Join other visitors on the wagon that seats up to 40.

However, trains will only run until early December. After that, you can only hop a ride on the wagon. (If you prefer a private wagon, you can reserve one for an additional fee.)

Snuggle up under the blankets that are provided, but be sure you dress comfortably for the weather.

What would a trip to Santa’s Magical Kingdom be without a visit with the man of the hour himself? After your drive-thru head into Kringle’s General Store.

There, you can meet and get photos taken with Santa, pick up a personalized ornament, or grab a snack. Mrs. Claus’ famous chocolate chip cookies are on the menu every night.

Santa’s Magical Kingdom is open nightly, including on holidays, through New Year's Day. (Yep! You can even visit on Christmas.) Visit nightly between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
