Get Ready For The Sale Of The Year With The 100-Mile Yard Sale In Missouri
Bargain and treasure hunters probably consider Missouri a tiny piece of paradise. After all, the state’s dotted with countless thrift shops, flea markets, and antique malls. Spring and summertime also mean yard sales throughout neighborhoods. Start making your wish list, because the 100-mile yard sale in Missouri will also make its return.
Memorial Day weekend just got a whole lot more fun with the return of the 100-mile yard sale in Missouri, which is slated for May 27-31, 2021.
The epic yard sale meanders from Jackson to Kennett or vice-versa, along Route 25. You’ll pass through a number of charming towns, including Dutchtown, Bloomfield, and Malden.
Treasure hunters often spend the entire weekend journeying from town to town. However, if you don’t have the entire weekend free, consider beginning in Dexter and traveling north to Jackson.
Your best bet is to bring plenty of cash along as most vendors don’t accept checks and credit cards. You’ll also need bags to transport and an empty trunk to fill with your treasures.
The 100-mile yard sale draws shoppers from all over, so traffic can get congested. Be on the lookout when you’re behind the wheel and when you’re driving.
In past years, shoppers have ventured off of the official route into nearby neighborhoods, where some individuals also host their own yard sales.
Head over to the official website of The City of Dexter for more information, including a list of businesses along the route and a map.
