This Mississippi Beachfront Attraction Is The Only One Of Its Kind In The Nation…And You’ll Want To Visit

The list of great attractions on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast got a bit longer in 2018 with the opening of Finishline Performance Karting. In addition to offering an adrenaline-pumping adventure, the high speed go kart track is extremely unique since it’s the ONLY beachfront track in America! Loads of fun for the young and old alike, the state’s newest attraction is a must-visit. Take look:

Located along Highway 90 in Biloxi, Finishline Performance Karting is a "state of the art outdoor go kart racing complex" that offers the ultimate experience for both kids and adults.

Under construction since 2017, the much-anticipated attraction will open for the first time on Friday, May 25th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Finishline will also be open on May 26th and 27th from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. On Monday, May 28th, the track will resume normal operating hours, which can be found on their website.

The high speed kart racing track is the only beachfront track in the country, but that’s not its only draw.

It also features a unique two-track design that allows for the configuration to be changed and the traffic reversed, resulting in endless variety and challenges.

A great visit for the entire family, there are two separate tracks – one for adults and one for younger drivers.

So, just how do drivers get around the track? There are three kart options. The fastest is the "adult" cart with a top speed of 50 mph!

There’s also the "dual" cart, which tops out at 35 mph, and the "junior" kart, which reaches 25 mph.

Aside from the thrilling tracks, Finishline includes an arcade, concession area, and lounge for those waiting to get behind the wheel.
