Food Festivals are popping up everywhere this summer and some of the best ones are in Detroit. From August 11-13th Detroit will be holding the Ribs and RnB Music Festival at Hart Plaza. Yes, you heard that right. Get ready to get messy chowing down on ribs, chicken and brisket while watching great musical talent.

The Detroit Ribs and RnB Music Festival is unlike any other food festival out there. Starting August 11th and running until the 13th, people are welcome to bring family and friends to eat some delicious barbeque food from over 100 vendors, while enjoying a multitude of awesome RnB artists perform.

The festival is located in Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit.

The weekend long festival will be located in Hart Plaza, offering amazing views of the Detroit River and Windsor, Ontario, which is right across the river.

You can expect there will be tons of vendors selling delicious barbeque.

With over 100 vendors cooking up some of the best barbeque in the city, how can you not join in on the fun? The food festival invites all local vendors to come and expose their own businesses to a welcoming crowd of what is sure to be around 250,000.

The Ribs and RnB Music Festival runs from August 11-13th with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. to midnight every night. The festival is FREE before 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Kids under the age of 12 can get in for free! Music starts at 5:00 p.m.
