Say Goodbye To Summer With This Wine And Cider Festival In Des Moines, Iowa
Jasper Winery in Des Moines is hosting its inaugural Iowa Wine and Cider Festival on August 26th, featuring live music, food trucks, lawn games, and tastings.
It's the second half of August and the end of summer is coming no matter how we feel about it. For some of us, it means cooler weather and being more active. For others, it means back to school! But for all of us, it means a chance to send off summer in style. Jasper Winery, a popular winery in Des Moines, is kicking off a new cider festival in Iowa this year, and it looks amazing. Jasper Winery will host its Iowa Wine and Cider Festival on August 26th this year, and while we don't know too much about the event yet due to it being the debut year, Jasper Winery is promising live music, food trucks, lawn games, winery tours - and of course, plenty of tastings of the many amazing varieties of wine and cider that put Jasper Winery on the map! This festival sounds like a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate the end of summer, Iowa-style!
It's pretty rare to see a world-class winery within the city limits of a major metropolitan area, but that's just one thing that sets Jasper Winery apart.
This Des Moines destination is always a popular stop for tours, shopping, and of course - tastings!
But this August 26th, you can enjoy Jasper Winery like never before at the inaugural Iowa Wine and Cider Festival.
As this is the first year, we can only guess how fun it will be - but the site is a popular event venue, and there's plenty of room for food, drink, and activities.
Live music is a regular staple at the venue, and this event will be no different.
We don't know exactly what food and drinks will be offered, but we do know that one of the highlights will be fresh apple cider donuts!
When the fun is done at this end-of-summer festival, make sure to stock up on some of Jasper Winery's specialty products for the road home.
