The One Spring Festival In Idaho That’s Worthy Of Your Bucket List Every Year

The Payette Apple Blossom Festival in Idaho is a spring event featuring concerts, a carnival, a parade, and fireworks.

Idaho is a terrific place to be regardless of the season. However, in the spring, there is one event that helps make our great state just a little bit greater (is that even possible?!) The Payette Apple Blossom Festival typically takes place the first full week of May each year. This spring festival in Idaho is the ultimate way to welcome in the warmer months of the year with concerts in the park, a large carnival, parade, fireworks, and more. It is definitely one annual event that's worthy of your bucket list every single year.

The Apple Blossom Festival is held in the town of Payette, Idaho, which is north of Boise and near the Idaho and Oregon state line. This event will take place May 14-19, 2024.

This annual event is not new to the state of Idaho. In fact, the first Apple Blossom Festival was held in 1923.

Today, the festival has blossomed into something pretty spectacular and there are numerous activities and attractions every single day to keep you entertained. You'll find these activities divided between two different venues in Payette: Central Park and Kiwanis Park.

Central Park is the perfect place to sit back, enjoy the warm weather, and listen to live music. Each evening, the stage at Central Park comes alive with various musicians. There is a beer garden and food vendors in this area as well.

At Kiwanis Park, you’ll be impressed with the Rainier Amusements Carnival. The entire family can enjoy a day of hopping on various rides and winning multiple games. Don’t forget to grab some tasty food while you are here as well.

The Apple Blossom Parade is one event during this festival that you will not want to miss. The parade features more than 100 entries that range from elaborate floats to bands and local organizations.

And, you can let your competitive side out during one of the many contests held during the Payette Apple Blossom Festival.

Of course, there’s no better way to celebrate spring than with a firework show! This is the grand finale of the festival and the perfect way to end a fun-filled week.
