Founded In 1975, Ste. Chapelle Winery Is Now One Of The Largest Wineries In Idaho

Ste. Chapelle Winery in Idaho offers a beautiful and historic wine-tasting experience with a variety of events and family-friendly amenities.

When many people think of wine and wineries, Idaho isn’t typically the first place to come to mind — but it should be. The Gem State is home to more than 65 wineries and 1,300 acres of vineyards, plus you’ll find award-winning wineries around the state. One of these Idaho wineries that is an absolute must-visit is Ste. Chapelle, which has grown to become one of the largest wineries in Idaho. It is beautiful and historic and may be home to your new favorite glass of wine.

St. Chapelle is a gorgeous winery founded in 1975. This is one of Idaho’s first wineries and throughout the years, it has grown to become one of the largest wineries in Idaho. Today, you can visit at 19348 Lowell Road in Caldwell.

This winery has the crush capacity of 3,000 tons, can produce up to 150,000 cases, and has 60 fermentation tanks.

When you first arrive at St. Chapelle, you will immediately be impressed by its beauty. Tucked away in the Snake River Valley, not only is the property gorgeous, but the surrounding landscapes are as well.

A visit to the Ste. Chapelle Tasting Room is an absolute must. This area is inspired by the Sainte-Chapelle in France and every detail is carefully thought out.

The tasting room is open daily. You can sit in the tasting room and enjoy the classy vibe or head outdoors and admire the views.

Ste. Chapelle produces everything from Riesling and Chardonnay to Syrah and soft huckleberry. There are several options for every taste.

And while you can always enjoy a more traditional wine tasting, wine flights are also available. With this option, you can sample four servings of 2.5 ounces of wine.

Ste. Chapelle is a family-friendly destination and is also pet friendly. If young children or your pet come along, I recommend bringing a picnic (outside food is welcome – outside alcohol is not) and enjoying a meal on the grass.

For a wonderful day out, visit Ste. Chapelle Winery during one of its open-air concerts. Enjoy good drinks, live music, and more. There are also classes, comedy nights, and various other events hosted at this beautiful Idaho winery and you won’t want to miss a single one.

Whether you come to sample the wine, enjoy the views, or just spend some time away from home, Ste. Chapelle Winery is one remarkable choice.
