Visit The Bayou Without Leaving Delaware At This Quirky Landmark Restaurant
Nora Lee's in historic New Castle offers an authentic New Orleans-themed dining experience with cajun and creole cuisine.
When you visit historic New Castle, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time to the 17th and 18th century, pretty much anywhere you go! There are a few spots that don't quite fit the theme, though, and one of them is the cajun restaurant that feels a lot more like Mardi Gras than 4th of July.
Nora Lee's is one place that stands out from the rest of the New Castle scene.
When you step inside, you'll be whisked away to the Bayou.
This New Orleans-themed bar and restaurant is one of the coolest spots in town.
Revel in the authentic experience when you sit down and see that there are Mardi Gras beads on the table, and even authentic Louisiana hot sauce.
All of the food here is cajun and creole inspired.
Of course, their gumbos and jambalayas are the best you'll find in Delaware.
Even their salads bring you a taste of NOLA with the perfectly seasoned cajun chicken.
When you're looking for a little bit of a vacation without having to plan a big trip, head to Nora Lee's in historic New Castle for a fun time you won't forget.
