You Could Easily Spend All Weekend At This Enormous Delaware Flea Market

Delaware has a number of great flea and farmers markets, but nothing beats this gigantic Kent County landmark that brings the best of the area's Amish vendors together every weekend for an experience that every Delawarean needs to have at least once in their lives. The "big red barn" of Spence's Bazaar in Dover has become a local icon in the region, and with so many fabulous finds and delightful vendors to explore, this is definitely one of Delaware's coolest flea markets!

Spence's Bazaar in Dover is THE place to shop til' you drop!

This GIGANTIC flea market has been entertaining Kent County for nearly 70 years, and there is a reason that everyone local knows it inside and out.

You can't miss it!

Spence's Bazaar in Dover has been around forever, or at least it seems that way! It's also one of the biggest flea markets in Delaware.  The vendors have become friends of regular customers, and the goods they offer are top-notch.

First up: you'll want to start your day at Spence's with a trip to a vendor who serves up fresh breakfast sandwiches, or a hot cup of coffee for extra energy.

Amish-made scrapple is the best around, and you're going to need the food to fuel your exploration.

Next, head outside to browse the flea market.

There are vendors selling antiques, furniture, fashion, jewelry, and so much more.

I love stopping by Spence's to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables.

Supporting a local farmer is great for our community, and the food is way fresher than anything I pick up at the grocery store.

Hopefully you have saved room for lunch!

The BBQ stand serves ribs that are to die for. I can't help myself, and I totally pig out any time I step into the market.

You can spend hours browsing the shops.

There is really nothing quite like thumbing through vinyl and picking out albums that you haven't seen in years.

Be sure you leave with something sweet!

From the mouthwatering fresh-baked donuts to the enormous candy shop, you will certainly find something to satisfy your sweet tooth!
