Delaware offers some of the best water parks for cooling off during the summer, featuring thrilling slides and family-friendly activities.
During the summer, thousands and thousands of tourists come to Delaware to enjoy our amazing beaches. Of course, Delawareans join the crowds, too! Delaware's beaches are among the best in the world, and we don't want to miss out. Half the fun of living in the First State is access to sand, salt water, and a sea breeze.
But... sometimes, you want to splash and play away from the sand! Whether the ocean is a little rough or you just want the thrill of a great waterslide, these Delaware water parks are the key to making your beach vacation complete.
1. Whitewater Mountain at Midway Speedway Park

18645 Coastal Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
The best part of Midway Speedway is the water park, White Water Mountain!

The slides here might be the fastest water slides in Delaware.
There's also a great lazy river, and a kid's pool for smaller thrillseekers.

2. Thunder Lagoon Waterpark
38960 Island St, Fenwick Island, Delaware
The 2800 square foot Activity Pool, plus an additional 800 square foot Kid's Pool, makes this the best family water park in the state.
Six lightning-fast slides include a black hole slide and a double slide, so thrill-seekers will have the time of their lives.
Everyone loves the tipping Viking Ship, though... watch your back or the next 250 gallons will be dumped on you!
3. Jungle Jim's Waterpark
36944 Country Club Rd, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, DE 19971
Jungle Jim's is Delaware's largest water park.
The Wave Pool "Sprayground" is one of the main attractions! Guests love the family-friendly activities.
And, well, Jungle Jim's has a lot more than just water slides going on.
Visit the park on Wednesdays from 11am-3pm to check out the mobile petting zoo and meet Roodini, the baby Kangaroo! I don't think he's a fan of the lazy river.
