Spring is almost here! Despite the weird weather this week, warm days are approaching and soon it will be the perfect temperature for a picnic in Delaware. With so many parks and places to visit in the state, it’s hard to choose the best place for your picnic. Check out these suggestions for places with great scenery and things to do to make your picnic an outdoor lunch adventure.

Milton is one of the cutest towns in Delaware, and Milton Memorial Park is a great place to throw down a picnic blanket and watch the beautiful Broadkill River in the springtime.

Grab takeout at one of Dover's many restaurants and walk down to Silver Lake Park, where you can sit by the lake and stroll through the trees after you eat.

Historic Bellevue Hall is more than just a pretty mansion - you can explore acres of land in the park. The walking path takes you to some scenic locations for your picnic adventure.

White Clay Creek is another one of Delaware's best kept secrets, right outside of Newark. Hike for a bit before finding a little picnic grove for your lunch adventure.
