These 11 Mouth-Watering Steakhouses In Washington DC Are A Carnivore’s Dream
Let’s face it, sometimes you just really need a hearty meal. When you are craving a delicious, perfectly cooked steak, you need to come to DC! There are numerous fantastic steakhouses in the area but these 11 just might be the best.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. 1. Bourbon Steak
This stylish steakhouse is tucked away in the Four Seasons Hotel but it’s worth searching out! They have a huge menu of steaks so whatever type you love, from Japanese Waguy to dry-aged New York strips, you’ll find it there.

2. The Prime Rib
The Prime feels like an old school throwback to the days when everyone dressed up to go out to dinner. The restaurant has dramatic mood lighting and a real live piano player. The crowning glory on the menu is, of course, the prime rib!

3. BLT Steak
BLT is a fun, lively place that features a seasonal menu that is filled with classic steak favorites and unique twists on the sides. There are six different cuts of steak available here and each one is just as good as the last!

4. Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
Joe’s is one of DC’s top places for steak and seafood. It’s a gorgeous two story space with marble columns, beautiful chandeliers and fantastic ambiance. Of course, their food is just as incredible. Their steaks are hand-carved by master butchers and will melt in your mouth.
5. The Palm
The Palm is the place to see and be seen. Many of Washington’s elite dine at this Dupont Circle hot spot. You’ll love the beauty of the space and their exquisite steaks. Try the rib eye with peppercorn sauce!

6. Mastro’s Steakhouse
Mastro’s is one of the newer steakhouses in the area but it still holds its own. Relax in the dark and romantic restaurant with the sound of live music playing in the background and indulge in one of their delicious wet-aged steaks.

7. Del Campo
One part Argentinian restaurant and one part steakhouse, Del Campo serves wood-fired cooked steaks that have plenty of flavor. If you are looking for spicy flavors and Argentinian flair along with some Peruvian tastes, you’ll love Del Campo.

8. The Capital Grille
There are a few Capital Grilles in the area but the one on Pennsylvania Avenue is our favorite. They have an excellent menu of dry-aged steaks with everything from a 10 ounce filet to a 24 ounce porterhouse, perfect for every appetite.

9. Ocean Prime
Ocean Prime is a stunning restaurant with beautiful decor that will make you feel fancy from the moment you walk in. Their impressive menu features both steaks and seafood, including their prime steaks that are perfectly seasoned to perfection.

10. Medium Rare
Medium Rare is a steak and frites lovers dream. This is a fun and relaxed neighborhood spot with a location in Cleveland Park and one on Capitol Hill. If you go, definitely order the steak and fries and enjoy crispy, perfectly seasoned fries with juicy steak.

11. Charlie Palmer Steak
Charlie Palmer Steaks is known for its incredible American steaks, including the Angus Rib-eye "Cowboy Steak" but they are also known for being a proponent of fresh, local foods. Many of the ingredients come form the community garden in Alexandria that the executive chef manages.
