Despite the mines eventually running dry, Nederland continued to remain relevant, thanks to its amazing surrounding landscape that consists of everything from wilderness areas to parks to the Barker Meadow Reservoir.
As if Nederland's natural wonders were not reason enough to visit, the town also boasts bright and cheery architecture and equally charming coffee shops, restaurants, museums, and shops.
