Take This Gorgeous Fall Foliage Road Trip To See Colorado Like Never Before
After visiting our family’s cabin in Grand Lake last weekend, something hit me: IT’S FALL. The temperatures were a comfortable 60-some degrees, the leaves were beginning to change… it was pure bliss, I tell you! If you are ready to take in all the fall goodness that Colorado has to offer, grab a PSL (pumpkin spice latte), your favorite scarf and hit the road for this gorgeous fall foliage road trip. (Link to the original map can be found here.)

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful spots in all of Denver is that of City Park, which boasts a number of vibrantly colored trees, as well as exciting (and free) festivals and events throughout the year.

One of Boulder's most iconic sites is that of the Flatirons; a series of five large rock formations that sit atop beautiful Green Mountain. Our advice? Make an effort to visit this scenic location every season. It's truly worth it.

No need to adjust your screen; the fall colors along McClure Pass truly are this radiant.

No Colorado fall foliage road trip would ever be complete without a quick drive along the Dallas Divide (which runs between the San Juan Mountains and the Uncompahgre Plateau)...

...or its most popular resident: the Last Dollar Road (a hidden and bumpy dirt road that takes travelers through some of the most beautiful scenes in the state).

A perfectly picturesque lake with a serene background of richly colored trees and mountainside? It can only be the lovely Cottonwood Lake in Buena Vista!
