The Sight Of Fall Foliage In Colorado From Up Above Is Unbeatable On This Scenic Chair Lift Ride
You have enjoyed Colorado’s fall foliage by car, foot, and bike, but have you ever seen the changing leaves and all of their incredible colors from high above? While you can always hike one of our 58 14ers to enjoy this view, there is an easier and less exhausting way, which is taking a ride on this scenic chair lift:
Welcome to the gorgeous Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain!
Open daily from June 12th through September 7th and every weekend from September 11th through October 4th, the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain is guaranteed fun for the entire family, thanks to its jaw-dropping views and safe enclosure.
Starting in the heart of Aspen, the Silver Queen ascends 2.5 miles up the 11,000-foot-high Aspen Mountain, making for out-of-this-world views that you will not find anywhere else.
While the views from atop the Gondola are spectacular year-round, there is something about fall that makes it all the grander.
Can you guess why?
Once you reach the summit of Aspen Mountain, you will find even more to see and do, including dining at the Sundeck Restaurant, hiking, yoga, and photography opportunities.
Summer pricing for the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain starts at $29 per person and can be purchased in person at the Aspen Mountain Ticket Office or via the Aspen Snowmass
The Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain runs every weekend now through October 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
