This is the Pine Creek Lavender Farm, an idyllic little farm with a relaxing atmosphere and a unique crop: lavender!
You’ll find about 5,000 lavender plants dotted across the property in three varieties, including two culinary lavenders. Just imagine how amazing the farm smells when the bushes are flowering!
According to the farm’s website, the drier air and mild temperatures help create lavender more abundant in oils and scents than you might find in other areas. Well, there’s only one way to find out...
The farm sells a variety of lavender-based products, including lotions, oils, and scrubs, as well as pure essential oil and a lavender-based natural insect repellent.
In the fall and winter months, Pine Creek Lavender Farm hosts cooking classes so you can learn how to make bread, chutneys, and desserts while incorporating lavender into the dish.
