Nothing beats sipping a glass of vino while looking out at the rolling plains of Arizona’s countryside. This unique winery offers those breathtaking views and a whole lot more, setting itself apart in the quirkiest way possible.
Located deep within the rolling plains of Sonoita, the unique Arizona Hops & Vines is a casual, laid-back slice of heaven, unlike anything you've ever experienced.
In the tasting room is a Wishing Barrel, where guests can leave their deepest desires. After a bell hanging overhead is rung, everyone toasts to the wish as a way of sealing it in.
Each unique wine is created from equal parts expertise and an undying passion for the craft. Tastings are $10 with a provided glass and $5 if you bring your own. Tasting hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday & Sunday.
Cheetos and wine might seem like an odd pairing, but in case you haven't noticed, going against the norm is embraced here. You'll be surprised by how well the cheesy crunch compliments certain kinds of vino!
Unlike many wineries, Hops & Vines welcomes kiddos. There's an entire room called the "Sober Shack" that is full of soda, candy, snacks, and games to keep little ones (and designated drivers!) entertained while the parents play.
Here are some of the cuties that also call Sonoita's wide open pastures home! Lambs, goats, donkeys, and other critters are always available for feeding and petting while you enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Outdoor games like horseshoes, corn hole, and tetherball offer a wholesome, old-fashioned way to have some fun. Tons of awesome events such as live concerts and yoga retreats are held throughout the year, so keep checking the winery's website to stay in the loop!
