There are several excellent options, and today we’re going to focus on a particularly wonderful little slice of ice cream heaven; Sundae’s Homemade Ice Cream is an incredible little place that serves up what is probably the best ice cream in Indiana. From its inception in December 1995 to today, Sundae's has been creating the most creative flavors of its incredibly creamy, delightfully delicious, ice cream.
It's conveniently located at the southern tip of Geist Reservoir, in Indianapolis. Trust us when we say that no matter which part of the state you hail from, this little shop is worth the drive.
As soon as you open the front door, your senses are rushed by the sweet aroma of home-made ice creams and other delectable treats.
From your standard ice cream cone to incredible sundaes piled high, your sweet tooth will absolutely demand that you come back - and if you're anything like us, you absolutely will.
You've got your basics: chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, etc. - but then you've got your special in-house flavors, which is one thing (of many) that Sundae's does incredibly.
Some of the flavors available at the time of this writing include mouth-watering gems like Lemoreo (lemon oreo), key lime pie, mint cookies and creme, red velvet, Butterfinger...
...espresso brownie swirl, peanut butter cookie dough, mud pie, fudge brownie, and so much more. They have 32 rotating flavors, so now you gotta come back. Can't miss any of them!
