But take a road trip to a lesser traveled Great Lake – Lake Huron – and you will come across the awe-inspiring place known as Turnip Rock.

Turnip Rock is a small rock formation that sits on shallow water on Lake Huron. Have a look.

It's located near the rock known as the Thumbnail - the extreme tip of Pointe Aux Barques, which is a small peninsula in Pointe Aux Barques Township in the Thumb of Michigan.
