Naturally, it all kicks off at Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis.

Here, you'll have mineral pools, water slides, and a public bathhouse to enjoy. Additionally, Hot Springs State Park is where you can see the stunning travertine features you've heard so much about. These formations are absolutely breathtaking, and the hot springs flow at a constant temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next, you'll head south to Saratoga, where you can soak at a Hobo Pool, a public mineral bath that's open 24/7 and is free to use.

When you're ready to get back on the road, head north to Granite Hot Springs, just south of Jackson Hole.

The view is spectacular looking out over the canyon at these natural wonders in WY. Try to hit this stop on the trip in the fall before winter. Granite Hot Springs is closed in November and although it reopens in December, once the snow falls you'll need a snowmobile, snowshoes, or a dog sled to get there. It's one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state.
Kelly Warm Springs is the next stop on the trip. Although it's one of the last best-kept secrets in Wyoming, it's becoming better known as the years pass on.

Way up in the northwest part of Yellowstone National Park is the last stop on this road trip. Boiling River Hot Springs isn't one of the better-known hot springs in Wyoming, but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it.

Since Boiling River Hot Springs is in the Mammoth Hot Springs area, you can take a walk along the boardwalks that wind around the geothermal features before finding a comfortable spot for a soak. This is one of the few places in the national park where you can actually soak and relax in the water.

This is also a beautiful place to spend a winter day and you’ll want to come back time and time again.
