Soak Under The Stars At This Historic Hot Spring In Wyoming
Wyoming is one of the most underrated states in the country, and those of us who live here get to enjoy keeping our natural wonders all to ourselves! You’ll rarely find a crowd at the relaxing Saratoga Hot Springs, and if you want to soak and relax while you stargaze, the Hobo Hot Pool is open 24 hours a day.
The tiny town of Saratoga became popular thanks to the hot springs that formed in town.
These natural pools were nicknamed Hobo Hot Springs. Unlike many natural springs, the ones along the North Platte River are cool enough to soak in.
These hot springs became popular tourist attractions, thanks to the relaxing and healing appeal of the mineral water, so the town built a "Hobo Hot Spring" bath house.
Today, you can soak, swim, and relax in the geothermally heated water. It's cooled down to between 109-119 degrees - hot enough for a therapeautic soak!
For generations, travelers have been stopping in Saratoga to have their troubles melted away by the hot water of the Hobo Hot Spring.
Saratoga Hot Springs is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can soak under the stars any time you need some time to relax.
If you're looking for a more traditional swim, the Municipal Pool is right next to the Hot Pool, and it's open from late May through early September.
Address: 300 E Walnut Avenue, Saratoga, WY, 82331
