The Spot Drive-In in Kenosha offers classic drive-in dining with delicious burgers and year-round carhops.
Craving a taste of normalcy? Well, you’ll find it at The Spot Drive-In. The iconic eatery has been serving up great burgers and other fast food eats and treats for decades - and no pandemic is going to change that. And since it’s a drive-in, you don’t have to worry about social distancing guidelines. Take a look:
A Kenosha institution, The Spot Drive-In has long been known for its delicious food and...
...delightful service, which includes year-round carhops.
The drive-in, which first opened in 1945, can still be found at its original location on 75th Street - granted a new building was constructed some years back to accommodate the drive-in’s growing customer base.
In addition to the building, the staff has grown over the years. When The Spot Drive-In first opened back in 1945, it had just one carhop!
Though the building has changed, several things have remained the same, such as the eatery’s iconic neon sign, which serves as a beacon, guiding diners to tasty burgers, the best root beer in town, and other drive-in classics.
Of all the tasty options on the menu, The Spot Drive-In is most known for its humble – yet delicious – hamburgers.
The perfect place to satisfy your burger craving, you can enjoy the beefy creations with an array of toppings, including bacon.
Boasting a food selection that’s just as hearty as the burgers, the menu features drive-in favorites, such as chili dogs, onion rings, and ice cream-based treats.
Keep in mind that The Spot Drive-In is a “cash only” type of place. However, if you forget to grab cash prior to your visit, it’s not the end of the world – there’s an ATM on site.
Retaining its classic feel and consistently delicious fare, it’s easy to see why The Spot Drive-In has received countless accolades over the years – and that’s in addition to the approval of locals.
The Spot Drive-In is open daily, from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. For more information, call (262) 654-9294. You can also visit the eatery’s website or Facebook page.
