This fabulous little family-owned spot has been around for a couple of decades. First opened by the current owner's mom, it passed on to another family and is now back with the daughter. It's a perfect little pie shop that makes you feel like you've been invited into grandma's kitchen, but you don't have to do any of the work to enjoy the fruits of the labor!
Despite being owned by two different groups, you better believe the folks behind this place are just one big, extended family. The two owners as well as the staff that have kept the place going can be found here pretty much any time you stop in. They've all adopted each other and you can feel the love they have for Sweetie Pies and what it represents in every single bite.
They do not skimp on filling here. Every pie is chock full of amazingness - check out the cherry sauce dripping out of this volcano of goodness. One way to preserve fresh fruit and make sure that it's all used before it spoils is to jar it up. Cherry pie filling here is chock full of giant pieces of cherry.
