Take A Mini-Roadtrip Adventure Through The Often-Overlooked West Virginia Northern Panhandle

West Virginia is the only one of the 50 states to have two panhandles. Typically, the Eastern Panhandle gets all the attention, maybe because of popular tourist attractions like Harpers Ferry. But the Northern Panhandle also has plenty of fun sites that are well worth a visit!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

Here’s an interactive map of these locations, if you need one for your road trip! Oh, and if you’re looking for a great local place to eat along the way, try Bob’s Lunch in Moundsville.
