West Virginia is developing an amazing restaurant scene, so of course we have delicious burgers of all sorts all over the Mountain State. Here’s a list of places to find some of the best burgers in West Virginia, in no particular order. Don’t forget to order
1. Atomic Grill, Morgantown
Atomic Grill is well known for their BBQ, but the burgers are amazing, too! This one is a grass-fed burger on a bed of lettuce with fried green tomatoes, bacon, swiss cheese and covered in hot BBQ sauce and bacon mac and cheese.
2. Secret Sandwich Society, Fayetteville
Secret Sandwich Society is known for its creative sandwiches and burgers. This one is topped with chipotle spread, roasted poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese, and red onion.
3. Fat Patty's
Fat Patty's is so beloved in West Virginia that is has four locations! You can find one in Huntington,

4. The North End Tavern, Parkersburg
The North End Tavern is the oldest restaurant in West Virginia, founded in 1899.
Their NET burgers are just as famous as their beers.

The Poky Dot is known for its gigantic portions, and the burgers are no exception. This is a triple stacker slider burger with nacho cheese.

Tailpipes serves up some of the most creative burgers in West Virginia. This one
with bacon, egg, and a donut in place of a bun was a special for National Donut Day.
7. Avenue Eats, Wheeling
Avenue Eats stands out as one of the best restaurants in Wheeling. Their burgers are made from grass fed beef, and topped with creative ingredients. This is the Greek burger.
8. Smoke Ring BBQ, Keyser
This restaurant is always inventing new specials, like this burger topped with homemade mozzarella sticks.
9. Chetty's Pub, Lansing
Chetty's overlooks the New River Gorge. It's a perfect location for fueling up after your adventures. This is the Pizza Burger with pepperoni, provolone, and marinara sauce.
10. Hillbilly Hot Dogs, Lesage
Hillbilly Hot Dogs is best known for their hot dogs, of course, but they have burgers, too! You can get normal sized burgers, or monstrosities like this triple wide that feeds up to 50 people.
