In the realm of party foods, you can't beat showing up to a gathering with a 30-pound burger in tow. Luckily, we know just the place to order one! And you'll find more than just good eats at this famous West Virginia roadside eatery. Keep reading to get a peek at this colossal burger - and more!
The burger is called The Triple Wide and, all in, it weighs 30 pounds.
You'll find it (and a lot more than just menu items) at Hillbilly Hot Dogs, a raucous eatery alongside the Ohio River just 12 miles northeast of Huntington.
Think of the biggest burger you're ever eaten, and then multiply that by 50. This giant delight is the equivalent of more than 50 eight-ounce burgers and we promise you've never seen (or consumed) anything like it!
When the masterpiece if finished, The Triple Wide weighs in at a whopping 30 pounds and can feed 50 people!
Featured in 2016 on the TV series, "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," Hillbilly Hot Dogs is practically a rite of passage for anyone living in, or passing through, the Mountain State.
The decor is quintessentially everything that would make most West Virginians cringe — if it was coming from an outsider. But Hillbilly is somehow lauded for their keen sense of humor. It's found all over every available space on the property.
Not in the mood for 30 pounds of burger? We suggest the Homewrecker Hot Dog. It's 15 inches and features a one-pound hot dog with two pounds of toppings! Dig in!
The Triple Wide feeds 50 people and costs $150.00 (plus tax).
