1. Spud Fish & Chips: Seattle (Alki & Greenlake), Kirkland, Edmonds
You may have heard of this iconic spot as they've been serving some of the highest quality fish & chips in the area since 1935. They have multiple locations, including one by Alki beach with a stunning view of Puget Sound and downtown Seattle. Pictured is their Halibut, which is hand-cut and breaded daily.
2. Bennett's Fish Shack, Westport
Out by the beach in Westport it's no surprise you'll find some of the freshest options. Next time you're hungry for quality seafood, be sure to stop by this place and try an order of their beer battered cod or hand-breaded halibut, paired with a side of crispy fries.
3. Seabolt's Smokehouse, Oak Harbor
All of the fish & chips at this gem on Whidbey Island are made from scratch, served with delicious coleslaw, seasoned fries, and your choice of a regular tartar or chili lime tartar sauce. Their huge menu includes halibut, cod, salmon, oysters & chips and more, plus microbrews and a fantastic selection of wine to pair with.
4. Dave's Bar & Grill, Spokane Valley
Even if you're not by the coast, you can still enjoy spectacular seafood options at this bar & grill in Spokane Valley. In addition to burgers and steaks, they serve some appetizing fish and chips, paired with your choice of salad or coleslaw.
5. Oliver's Fish & Chips, Graham
If you love Ivar's but you're looking for something new to try, this is a remarkable spot to check out in Graham. In addition to their fish & chips with homemade tartar sauce, be sure to get a taste of their flavorful clam chowder.
6. Fairhaven Fish & Chips, Bellingham
The fish & chips from this double decker bus are served with a homemade coleslaw, seasoned garlic fries, tartar sauce and a lemon wedge for the perfect touch. You'll be able to choose from Alaskan Halibut, Wild King Salmon and the Traditional (but always delicious) Cod.
7. Beau Legs Fish 'N Chips, Lacey
In addition to gumbo and amazing southern food, you'll be able to find some fantastic fish & chips at this small restaurant in the Olympia area. Pictured is a basket of their Catfish, which is seasoned and fried to perfection, then served with hush puppies, coleslaw and fries.
8. Larry's Drive-In, East Wenatchee
Pull up to this drive-in and you'll find a menu with all kinds of tempting options to choose from. While they are known to have some of the best chicken, they also make wonderful Fish & Chips with coleslaw and tartar sauce.
9. Sea J's Cafe, Port Townsend
Known for their fish & chips, this spot in Port Townsend is definitely a must try if you're a fan of seafood. Their hand-dipped cod & fries come with coleslaw and a thick slice of garlic toast. To top it all off, they also make mouthwatering milkshakes in a variety of flavors.
10. Paya Thai Fish and Chips, Tacoma
Located in Freighthouse Square, this place never disappoints when it comes to a plate of hand-breaded fish. It comes served with fries and sauce, and topped with a lemon wedge and mini American flag. In addition, they also offer excellent halibut, shrimp and clam chowder.
11. Doc's Marina Grill: Bainbridge Island
With a beautiful location right by the water, this place on Bainbridge offers delicious fish & chips with an extraordinary view. Their hand-cut Cod is panko breaded, then fried a golden brown and served with coleslaw or fries. They also have deck seating and another location in Port Townsend.
