There are few things more peaceful than spending quality time on the water. Here in Virginia, we’re lucky to have access to bays, the ocean, rivers, and lakes, too. Many Virginia lakes are popular destinations throughout the year, but if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten path, we have a special place in mind: Hidden Valley Lake. Nestled within a wilderness region of the same name, this secluded mountain lake in Virginia offers a treasure trove of activities. For those that don’t mind a bit of an out-of-the-way excursion, it’s a peaceful destination worth seeking out.
