Richland Center is surrounded by the rich farmland of southwest Wisconsin. It’s an easy drive from places like Madison and La Crosse, in the heart of the state’s Driftless Area.

The town may be small, but it has a big history. It was an important location during the Suffrage Movement – Susan B. Anthony even traveled here in 1886.
The famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Richland Center. One of his buildings, the A. D. German Warehouse, is still in town and can be toured. The origin of the GTE telephone company can also be traced to Richland Center.
