1. Stavkirke (Washington)

Nothing says "fairytale" quite like the Stavkirke, a Norwegian church on Washington Island. But its medieval appearance isn’t its only enchanting attribute. There’s also its secluded locale. 2. Red Mill (Waupaca)

This all-in-one attraction includes a gift shop, coffee shop, and ice cream parlor – all of which is housed in a 1955 grist mill. Only adding to Red Mill’s fairytale-esque vibes are the idyllic grounds, which include a charming wedding chapel and covered bridge. 3. The Greenhouse (Kohler)

A fitting spot to grab a bite on your fairytale-inspired trek, The Greenhouse is as enchanting as can be! Part of The American Club Resort, the eatery is situated in a garden and housed in an antique solarium from England. 4. Grant Park (South Milwaukee)

You’ll feel like you stepped into a fairy tale when visiting this South Milwaukee park. That’s especially true when trekking along the park’s Seven Bridges Trail. 8. Pattison State Park (Superior)

Absolutely captivating, the 1,400-acre park is brimming with natural beauty, including Big Manitou Falls.
