Big Falls County Park is located about 20 minutes east of Eau Claire, not far from the Village of Fall Creek. It’s located on the Eau Claire River, which is a tributary of the Chippewa River.

When you arrive at this little gem of a park and walk the short trail to the water’s edge, you’ll think you are in paradise!

The Eau Claire River cascades over a series of large rocks, creating a tranquil background to the park.

The picturesque park covers 135 acres and has some wonderful soft sand areas for sunbathing. To reach some of the nicest spots, you may want to wade through some shallow water, so dress appropriately.

There’s a $3 entrance fee to access the park. There are some limited amenities at the park, including pit toilets and a picnic area with grills.
