Eagle Eye Alpaca Farm In Wisconsin Makes For A Fun Family Day Trip

Eagle Eye Farm in Western Wisconsin offers tours to see alpacas and other animals up close.

Alpacas are some of the most amazing creatures on Earth, and a special farm in Western Wisconsin will let you see some up close. Eagle Eye Farm in River Falls has a stable full of amazing creatures including quirky and photogenic alpacas, pigs, chickens, and more.

Here’s what’s waiting for you at this award-winning farm.

The farm is just west of River Falls, not far from the St. Croix River and Kinnickinnic State Park. It’s only 45 minutes from the Minneapolis Airport.

The farm has llamas, Valais Blacknose sheep, Kunekune pigs, miniature Highland cattle, and many varieties of chickens.

But the real stars of this place are the alpacas. These South American mammals are decidedly at home on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. They are similar to llamas, just a little smaller.

Alpaca hair can be used to create warm and luxurious fabrics. Browse Eagle Eye’s farm store to see some of the ways this special fabric can be used.

Want to meet the animals? The farm offers tours where you can learn about all the animals and meet some of them up close. You may even get a kiss from a llama or a wink from an alpaca!

Feed is available for a small fee so you can feed the animals. The farm also holds special events so you can get some exercise with some new workout buddies!

Book a tour of the Eagle Eye Farm here. Tours take about an hour to complete. Private farm tours and birthday parties can also be reserved at the farm. If you love unique and special animals, pay a visit to this place that’s packed with amazing goats!
