Welcome to the charming town of Manchester, Vermont. Located between the Taconic Range and the beautiful Green Mountains, the area is a convenient drive from both Boston and New York City. Those looking for late-season skiing will be thrilled to find that most of the area's ski destinations, namely Mount Snow, Bromley Mountain, and Stratton Mountain, stay open through March.
Yet snow isn't required to appreciate all that the area has to offer. Late February and early March also mark the beginning of maple harvesting season. Visitors can appreciate the art of maple syrup making by visiting any number of nearby sugar shacks.
