This One Enchanting Place In Texas That Must Go On Your Bucket List Immediately
What place is more enchanted than one with that very word in its name? I don't believe there is one, especially when the place in question is as beautiful and mystifying as Enchanted Rock near Fredericksburg. Between its eerie folklore, stunning vistas, and numerous unique trails, this enchanting landform is one that definitely needs to go on your bucket list for this season.
This gorgeous pink monolith is a must-visit, especially this time of year.
Despite how breathtaking of a sight it is, there's some spooky Native American folklore associated with it.
The natives heard the rock creaking and groaning at night and saw strange flares of light at the summit.
Although we now have logical explanations for both of those things, they still give the rock a spellbinding and mystifying air about it, making it perfect to visit during the month of October.
All creepiness aside, Enchanted Rock is absolutely beautiful. From its peak, you can look out over the expansive Texas Hill Country as far as the eye can see.
And if you stick around until sunset...boy, is it something else.
So if you find yourself in Central Texas this fall, make some time to visit this gorgeous natural formation. You'll see our state in a whole new light.
