The Park In South Dakota That’s Picture Perfect For A Family Day Trip

Have your kids been climbing the walls lately? Does the whole family have a serious case of spring fever? Luckily, the weather is starting to really improve and some of our favorite attractions are opening for the season. Here's a fun family park that just opened for the 2017 season - take a look!

Thunder Road Family Park is the perfect place to spend an afternoon with friends and family.

Find it at 201 N. Kiwanis Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Race your friends on the Go-Karts. See who can maneuver the hairpin turns and steep banks the fastest!

The bumper boats (for kids weighing less than 150 pounds) are perfect when you want to cool off on a hot day.

Catch some thrills on the Dragon Coaster. This double-spiral coaster is fun for the whole family - you only need to be 37" tall to ride if you're with an adult.

Get dizzy on the Tilt-A-Whirl. This ride will spin you in circles - maybe complete this one BEFORE you eat that ice cream.

When you get tired, relax with a leisurely round of mini golf.

Hit some balls. The batting cages have both baseball and softball pitching machines, each with three speeds to match your ability.

Bring your friends for a game of Laser Tag. The thrill of laser tag is unbeatable. You'll need six people to play, so bring some friends or family with you.

Test your mettle in the Laser Maze/Beam Buster. Can you get all the way through it unscathed?

Soar to new heights (safely) on the Euro Bungy. Anyone between 20 and 200 pounds can try this one!

During the month of April, the park is open Saturday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm; Sunday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Expanded hours start in May.
